One of the best restaurants in Gallup, I highly recommend this place. Incredible service and food came out fast, hot, and fresh. Got the chili cheese fries, beef enchilada plate and Miguel’s delight. Sopapillas came out shortly after and were fresh and delicious. Waited about 10 minutes as the place is a bit small and busy but it was well worth short wait and was very clean inside.

This place have been recommended by our coworkers for a long time. We tried coming here the first two times and both times the restaurant was close for different reasons. The third time was a charm, we lined up outside with other would be diners and it took a few minutes before we got seated. The place was packed, atmosphere feels more nostalgic, could use updating on the wall displays but also gives them route 66 Gallup feel. The menu looks simple and easy to read and order. It is also customizable. When the food came, the portions are large. The green & red chiles are one of the best I have tried in New Mexico. Wait time for the food was reasonable if not quicker considering the place was full. Highly recommended.

I grew up in Gallup New Mexico and Jerry’s Cafe had always been my go to place. I don’t care what anybody says… this cafe is by far the best EVER.. everything is fresh, hot and the red and green chili OMG so tasty. I can’t find anything like this here in Az. I went back home last week and had to make Jerry’s my mandatory stop lol. Thank you Jerry’s Cafe for such amazing friendly service and the most delicious food I e had in years.. goodness smh I just can’t explain yall need to try it for yourselves AMAZING!!! everything was PERFECT!!! Thank you!! New Mexico hatch Green Chile is the best!!!

If you’re in Gallup, NM, and looking for a truly authentic dining experience, I highly recommend Jerry’s Cafe at 406 W Coal Ave! I came in hungry all the way from Houston, and Jerry’s did not disappoint in delivering the real taste of Mexican cuisine. The dinner was absolutely fantastic, with flavors that transported me right back to home-cooked meals. The red chili sauce was the highlight – it had the perfect balance of spice and flavor, making every bite memorable.Service was impressively fast, and our waitress, Janelle, was exceptionally friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. I tried the large breakfast burrito, which came in generous portions and was loaded with authentic flavors. If you’re craving a genuine, hearty Mexican breakfast, this is the spot. Highly recommend Jerry’s Cafe for anyone passing through Gallup!

Stopped in this place while on my quest to find the best green chili smothered burrito in the southwest, while road tripping to spring training in Arizona. This place is so rad. It’s a retro narrow diner in old downtown Gallup. The neon lights are cool. Food was exactly what I wanted, green chili New Mexican food. Loved it! Will be back next year!
